On April 19, 2018, in celebration of the Supply Chain Day 2018, the Faculty of Management Engineering at the Bialystok University of Technology and the Student Scientific Association of Logistics “LogiSQUAD” in cooperation with IKEA Industry Poland sp. zoo organizes a visit to the factory of this company in Orla. Coordinators are Marta Jarocka (Ph.D) and Urszula Ryciuk (Ph.D).
IKEA Industry is the largest producer of wooden furniture in the world. Their produce furniture made of solid wood and wood-based panels for IKEA customers.
IKEA Industry Poland sp. z.o.o. in Orla is a complex of two plants covering a modern factory of ultra-thin High Density Fibreboard, a sawmill and an added production plant in which the boards are cut to size.
