On April 18, 2024, two events will be held as part of the Supply Chain Day celebration.
The first of them is a workshop titled "LEAN MANUFACTURING GAME: WORKSHOP ON PRINCIPLES AND TOOLS OF PROCESS OPTIMIZATION IN PRACTICE." It is intended to familiarize participants with Lean techniques and tools and enable them to master the ability to identify waste in order to optimize processes.
This event will be led by managers from FORVIA: Anna Ossowska, MA - Divisional Operations PC&L (Production Control & Logistics) Manager, Carla Nogueira (Portugal) - Divisional Material Planning & Transport Scheduling Platform Manager, Viridiana Rosete (Mexico / Spain) - Division PC&L Improvement Manager , Marius Cirstea (Romagna) – Division PC&L Improvement Manager.
The second workshop is a simulation in the field of international transport organization, titled "Principles of organization of international road transport on the example of Kaspeda Sp. z o. o. ".
This event is intended to show students, among other things, the most important aspects related to the work of a forwarder, tools and challenges, as well as ways to deal with them.
The workshop will be led by Mr. Maciej Bartosik, Manager of the International Forwarding Department in Katowice.
The event is open to all students of the University of Economics in Katowice, in particular those studying the following fields: Business Logistics, Logistics, Management, International Economic Relations and Economic Analytics.
