Description

A tour of the Port comprising visits to the: Cruise Terminal, Terminal Control building and Dover Western Docks Revival Marketing Suite. There will also be a visit to local cargo business Heritage, based up in Whitfield.

09.30am – Arrive at Harbour House for welcome and brief
10.00am – Visit to the Dover Western Docks Revival Marketing Suite to find out about the plans for the development
10.30am - 11.30am – Visit to the Terminal Control Building in the Eastern Docks to see the Dock and Harbour in action from the top floor and find out how the Port operates and manages over 5 million vehicles per year
11.30am - 12.30pm – Tour of Heritage International Transport’s premises in Whitfield
12.45pm - 2.30pm – Visit to Cruise Terminal 1 to find out about Dover’s Cruise operations followed by lunch.
