Logistikregion Rheinland & MIT Rhein-Kreis Neuss
Vocational training fair held on Logistics Day attracts around 400 young people in Neuss
Around 400 school pupils were able to experience just how diverse, modern and forward-looking the logistics sector is at the “Supply Chain Day” in Neuss. The vocational training fair offered young people the opportunity to learn about various apprenticeships, study options and career paths, and to speak directly with companies, institutions and experts from the region.
Around 30 exhibitors gave practical demonstrations of the opportunities offered by logistics – ranging from commercial roles and trade-based professions to digital and technical applications. A key factor in the event’s success was the voluntary commitment of the organising team, who prepared and supported the fair with great dedication. The event was also supported by the Rhein-Kreis Neuss.
The event made it clear: logistics drives the region – and offers young talent excellent prospects.

Statement from Thomas Vieten, Managing Director of Logistikregion Rheinland
"It is a strong indication that so many pupils are interested in a career in logistics. At the same time, I am delighted that so many regional exhibitors are demonstrating, with great enthusiasm, just how attractive and diverse our industry is."
