Amazon Logistics Network Germany

Logistics is at the heart of the Amazon customer experience

Amazon has been active in Germany for over 25 years. Since opening its first logistics centre in Bad Hersfeld in 1999, Amazon has put a total of 23 logistics centres, 9 sorting centres, and over 60 distribution centres into operation. We take care of everything: from the moment customers click on “Buy Now” to the moment their order is delivered to their doorstep.

It takes dedicated employees and state-of-the-art technology to ensure fast and reliable delivery for our customers. That’s why more than 40,000 employees are permanently employed by Amazon in Germany across a wide range of fields, including occupational safety, health management, IT, human resources, process optimization, technology, shipping, and much more. With the introduction of technical innovations at many of our locations, new development and career opportunities are continuously being created for employees. Entry level opportunities for young career starters are also available through our apprenticeship programs and dual study options in exciting professions. Together, we work to continuously inspire customers with innovation.
