Insights into Zalando's Logistics Centers
Zalando was founded in Berlin in 2008 and has grown into Europe's leading fashion and lifestyle e-commerce ecosystem. Through its consumer-facing apps – Zalando, ABOUT YOU, and Lounge by Zalando – the company offers customers an inspiring and highly personalized shopping experience. For brands and retailers, Zalando provides access to its logistics, software, and service capabilities, enabling seamless cross-border growth across Europe.
This year's Supply Chain Day once again offered visitors a behind-the-scenes look at Zalando's logistics operations. Students, professionals, and members of the public were invited to explore several of Zalando's logistics centers across Germany and gain insights into the people, processes, and technologies that power the company's fulfillment network. One of Zalando's most advanced logistics centers is located in Lahr, in Germany's Black Forest region. On Supply Chain Day, visitors had the opportunity to tour the approximately 130,000-square-meter facility and experience firsthand how innovation and logistics come together to support millions of customer orders.
