Logistics Day 2018 in Beijing

Supply Chain Day Report - BVL Beijing Chapter 2018

BVL Beijing Chapter organized Logistics Day event on the 19th April 2018. To make the event a little bit different from the past years, we organized a whole day activity, including a seminar in the morning in Beijing Wuzi University and a site tour in WAGO Electronic (Tianjin) Co., Ltd in Wuqing, Tianjin in the afternoon.

There are total more than 100 people joined the events. They are logistics professionals, entrepreneurs, scholars, professors and also students.  

In the morning during the Seminar, Professor Lu Hua of Beijing Wuzi University delivered presentation regarding her studies on Intelligent Logistics. Ms. Jean Wang, chairperson of BVL Beijing Chapter also delivered a presentation regarding how to establish an intelligent supply chain and Introduction of logistics 4.0. Followed these attractive presentations, a panel discussion, regarding how to promote Intelligent Logistics Effectively started. The participant exchanged ideas with the speakers.

The President of Logistics Institute of Wuzi University, Professor Jiang Xu attended the event and addressed in his opening speech, that he believes BVL Logistics Day is an excellent annual event and through this platform, both Chinese and German logistics experts are able to find out valuable information and share ideas.

In the afternoon we visited WAGO Electronic (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. This is a very famous German Invested manufacture for producing electrical Relay and Interconnections of Chinese High Speed Train. The participants got a close look at the factory supply chain related facilities and management on site and discussed lots of interested issues with the supply chain manager Mr. Cui Zhengxue from WAGO.  

Many participants highly evaluated our events and expressed the wishes to attend more events like this in the future.
