What is Supply Chain Day?
Supply Chain Day was established by the German logistics organization BVL International as a day of information and promotion of logistics and supply chain through the organization of events, speeches, presentations and guided tours of business premises. Companies and organizations open their gates giving the public the opportunity to be informed about the supply chain industry and the wide variety of activities under the logistics. Supply Chain Day was celebrated for the first time on April 16, 2008 in Germany and Austria and since then it has been established in many European countries with the motto “Logistics paves the way”. ILME as a member of the European Logistics Association (ELA) has been honoring this day uninterruptedly since 2015.
The 4th International Logistics Forum organized by ILME on February 4, 2021 was a great success and was attended by over 530 people from the market and academia, recognizing the substantial contribution of the event to the diffusion of know-how and trends from Greek and international experiences in Logistics space in the midst of a pandemic.
